I was on the lookout for a job when Jim popped into my inbox. I’m normally dubious of these people that message promising the earth and I’d usually give them short shrift. However, for whatever reason, I gave Jim my number and he gave me a call. He turned out to be a really likeable character and we chatted about life in general and what we were both up to. I put the phone down thinking “what a nice bloke”. Over the next few days we spoke several times and Jim helped me tailor my CV and covering email to target certain companies. I secured three interviews (one I found by myself) and was offered all three jobs. The two jobs Jim found me were for a lot more (6 grand!) a year than my salary at that time, with a position a step up the ladder with companies offering exactly what I was after: work/life balance, training and room for progression. I am now really happy (and excited) in my new role. So, if you’re thinking about a new job, seek Jim out, or if he slips into your inbox, don’t dismiss him. Message back sharpish. I cannot recommend Jim highly enough. I really can’t. Thanks Jim!
